It's already been 3 months since we were in China.  We will continue to update our blog:

Thank you for your support- we have reached our goal!  We will be in China September 28th- November 1st.  We will have a daily blog to give you all updates!  Thanks for following Hallie's story.  We have added new videos to give you a good idea of how much Hallies sees pre-stem cell therapy. Check it out:  Hallie Videos

"No one has ever seen God;

but if we love one another, God lives in us

and his love is made complete in us."

-1 John 4:12

When looking at Hallie you see a beautiful, intelligent, happy little girl. She loves to listen to and play music, tell stories, go to the park, wrestle with her da-da, just like any other two-year old.

What sets Hallie apart, is that she was born with a disorder called Septo-Optic Dysplasia. There are two parts that are included in this disorder, Optic-Nerve Hypoplasia (ONH) and pituitary gland hormone deficiencies. ONH means she has underdeveloped optic nerves which result in Hallie being legally blind. The pituitary gland hormones that Hallie is deficient in are growth hormone and thyroid. She takes daily injections of growth hormone and a daily pill for thyroid to help her maintain normal levels.

 Hope for Hallie is a fundraiser to take Hallie to China for Umbilical Cord Blood Stem Cell treatments. There have been amazing results for people who have ONH. Many have improved their vision and as a result their overall quality of life. This is an expensive trip and procedure. We are asking for your help as we prepare for the road ahead.
